A wonderful hotel near all amenities with such friendly staff who are helpful and caring in every possible way. The hotel is extremely clean and the bedroom was lovely with a comfortable bed and terrace. The breakfast menu offers great variety in a stylish breakfast room. We could not recommend it highly enough.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal dort, diesmal mit einer Person mehr. Wir hatten ein größeres Zimmer mit einem Balkon nach hinten raus. Der ist aber so groß gewesen, daß man auch wieder auf das Meer sehen konnte. Alles sauber und ganz, wie erwartet. Das Frühstück, wie beim letzten Mal umfangreich und hochwertig. Diesmal konnte man auch außerhalb des Frühstückraumes auf der Terasse vor dem Hotel frühstücken. Sehr freundliches familiäres Personal, daß uns gleich erkannte !! Wir würden auch ein drittes Mal kommen

Wir waren 6 Tage dort und haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen. Parken wurde zu einem sehr vergünstigten Preis angeboten. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und lecker. Die Zimmer sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal war immer super freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Straße selbst ist er ruhiger, daher kann man auch bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Zum Strand sind es 2 Minuten zu Fuß über die Straße. Unser Zimmer hatte einen seitlichen Meerblick der auch wirklich vorhanden war. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Gem of a hotel and an ideal base to explore Tuscany. Katy is a small family owned hotel offering first class service and facilities all with a personal and friendly touch. We had no need to visit the local tourist office as the advice provided at the hotel was exemplary. We had an excellent stay and fully recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed 9 nights at your clean, friendly and well appointed hotel (the best 3* hotel we have stayed at). Room (106) was very comfortable, clean & spacious with a great balcony. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful while Luchellia served great coffee with a smile to compliment the excellent breakfast. We stayed at Hotel Katy for 5 nights in October 2014. We had a lovely room 402 with a large balcony. The room was spacious,comfortable very clean and had all we needed. The family were always friendly, attentive and very helpful. We enjoyed the wonderful spread at breakfast from cereal, European hams and cheeses to eggs and bacon. The hotel is ideally located very close to the lovely Viareggio promenade. We will definitely return we had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much Georgia, Mama and Papa for making our stay so special.

Я бы приехала в этот отель еще раз, рекомендую. Соотношение цена качество лучшее.

We stayed at the Hotel Katy for 3 nights in September 2014. We very much enjoyed our stay in this friendly hotel which is just metres from the sea. The front desk staff and all the other staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. There was lots of hot water at any time of the day. Breakfast was good with a good choice of hot and cold food. Madame Katy was there every morning and had a word with every guest. Viareggio is very convenient for visiting towns such as Pisa and Lucca. They have a great market on Thursdays which stretches the length of the promenade. The market makes a good change from the shops on the promenade which are very expensive! We got a taxi to the station when we left and my husband left a bag containing credit cards in the taxi. We were on our way to the plane when we discovered this. He rang the Hotel and they sorted everything out for him - retrieved the bag and checked the contents, rang us back to reassure us that everything was there and said that they would post it on to us. They are really nice people. You should stay here if you are visiting the area.

Wir waren in Hotel Katy 9 Tage im Juli.Wir haben einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt gehabt. Sehr freundliche Besitzer und Angestellte. Das Zimmer war immer sauber und das Frühstück war super gut. Wir können Hotel Katy uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Hotle liegt ruhig obwohl der Strand und die Promenade nur ein Paar Schritte entfernt liegen.

Great location 50m from the front and a balcony that overlooked the Med.Beautiful room that was comfortable,spacious and kept immaculatly clean as was the rest of the hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast that set you up for the day. The lovely owners were great in recommending good restaurants and places to visit, providing the bus and train times etc. Stay at the Hotel Katy enjoy the beach, sightseeing and the promenading in the evening for the sights and sounds of Viareggio. note:Room safe is included in the price as are beach towels and bag.

A great location in a beautiful little city on the Mediterranean with very easy access to many interesting sites in the area - Lucca, Cinque Terre, Pisa. We really enjoyed our little balcony and the views half a block to the gorgeous Mediterranean. Owned by a lovely family who speak English very well and are most welcoming and very helpful. A very nice typical European breakfast was served in a lovely breakfast room and hot/cold, sweet/savory selections were generously refilled. If you have a car, parking on the street is very accessible and the hotel can give you a most reasonably priced 5 euro per day parking voucher. We loved Viareggio and will definitely return to the wonderful Hotel Katy.

Tutto il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile e premuroso. Stanza pulita, colazione abbondante (torta fatta in casa, frutta...), posizione a due passi dal mare e dalla pineta. La gentilezza in questo hotel è di casa. Da provare e da ritornarci.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel durante le festività pasquali e siamo stati divinamente. La posizione dell'albergo è ottima a pochi passi dalla passeggiata e dalla pineta, le camere sono spaziose, pulite e curate ( dotate anche di mediaset premium hotel) . La colazione è ricca e di qualità con varietà di cibi dal dolce al salato. Cortesia e gentilezza dei propietari. Ci torneremo sicuramente!!!

I Was impressed with hotel Katy from the moment I entered, very bright clean and professional lobby with beaming family team members from the word go. Got checked in and realised my shirt I had ironed specially for a wedding was all creased and the manager got one of the team to iron it for me. Room lovely and cool with a pretty bathroom, I could go on, but in essence such a reasonable and pleasant place of the word. Thank you and I shall return.

We really enjoyed our stay and were very impressed by the care and attention we received. The room was clean and comfortable and the food delicious, with a breakfast that was varied and imaginative;home made cakes baked freshly every day! The owners went out of their way to be helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We also loved the setting down an elegant and jasmine scented side road close to the famous esplanade. The hotel staff was very helpful and always friendly. The breakfast was amazing and it was included in the price. There was so many different types of foods to choose from and most all of them were great. The location was outstanding. It was a small hike from the train station but it's half a block from the beach. The room we stayed in was pretty simple but it was well taken care of and comfortable. We stayed in nicer hotels on our vacation but none of them provided the same value.
